Brooklin had signed up for a Utah basketball

camp this weekend but she had a better offer!

She won the Pitch, Hit and Run in Vegas and was

able to advance to the sectionals in San Diego.

We let her make the decision and I can't say I blame

her for choosing the beach and sunny days in SD.

We headed down after swim lessons and throw 

a wreck on the freeway, we didn't hit Vegas until

9:30 pm. I think we pulled into our hotel around 3:30 am!

We were ready for some much needed sleep!

Friday we woke up refreshed and ready to hit the beach..

We stopped for breakfast which was so yummy and

then headed to Mission Beach. It was awesome and 

the weather was perfect!! Jacey and Cole are living 

there for the summer selling pest control and Jacey

had the day off so she met up with us.

It was so fun seeing her and hanging out, Mason

taught her how to boogie board. He loved the water

and I don't think he ever got off his board...

After the beach we headed to Old Town for dinner

at Coyote Cafe for the best mexican food around!

The kids wanted to swim once we got back to the hotel
so Nick stayed with them and I went to visit my bestie Holly!
