carving pumpkins

Tonight we ate dinner in a pumpkin and decided to carve our pumpkins! Today Brooklin and I were looking at templates and when she spotted the glass slipper, that's what she had to have! Mason did the bat and I decided to try and be a little creative, it turned out pretty good... Coca-cola, all the way :)
Brooklin actually carved hers all by herself, she did a great job. Dad helped Mason with his because he didn't want anything to do with it. I'm sure mine won't last til morning!

Watch Out... Here Comes

WONDER WOMAN!
Today Brooklin was able to dress up for both of her preschools parties! She was so excited and didn't even mope around this morning. She painted her nails red and was able to wear makeup today. She looked so darn cute and had the Wonder Woman pose down :)

**sugar cookies**

Monday night we decorated yummy sugar cookies at my parents house. My mom is so awesome, she bakes the cookies and makes the frosting... all we do is show up, frost, decorate and leave a huge mess! We look forward to decorating cookies any chance we get because they are soooo delicious! Thanks for a fun evening :) (missed you Kirst, Kasey, Meridee, Jackson and little Addison)

...SpOoKy BrEaKfaSt...

My kids usually don't eat breakfast but I saw these on another blog and thought I'd give them a try. My kids loved them and actually ate 2 of them!

~I'm a BiG girl now~

Yeah!!! Brooklin has finally decided to ride her bike without training wheels. We have tried a couple times before now and she just freaked out but she caught on so quick this time. It has taken her about a week to really get the feel for it but she can start and stop by herself and thinks she's hot stuff! We have taken her bike to my parents so she can ride around the circle. When she first started riding she couldn't stop and she'd take the curb going fast, it was hilarious.
We are so proud of you B... be safe and don't crash!

Pumpkin Patch

Today we headed to St. George and went to the pumpkin patch at Staheli Farms. My mom and Kirstin came with us and we ate lunch at Pizza Factory. We did a lot of fun things at the farm, it was a great day just a bit warm for October! The kids played on the horse swings, went down the corn slide, did the rope swing, pet the animals, rode on the cow train and picked pumpkins!

mini cheer

Go BuLLdOgS! Brooklin did mini cheer this year and she performed at half time. She did a great job - I've been teasing her that she doesn't want to be a cheerleader in high school and she needs to play ball... but she made a cute little cheerleader last night! I'm so proud of you B :)
Mason even had to get in on the action! He was bustin out all kinds of moves. Way to cheer loud Mason!

1st round of pumpkins

We found these cute little pumpkin kits about a month ago and Brooklin just had to have a Hello Kitty one... so we bought them and we just got some pumpkins so the kids were super excited to put them together.
We're planning on going to the pumpkin patch this weekend so we'll find some good pumpkins to carve this year!

Fire Safety

Brooklin has been learning about fire safety this month in school. She's been so excited to see the fire trucks and go on a field trip to the fire station. She has learned to Stop, Drop and Roll and we came up with a fire escape plan last night. She's loving school and asks me every morning if she's going to miss sunshine school or miss kim. She loves both her teachers and is doing so well. She has mastered her name for the most part and is doing so much better on her K's!

random pics of mason...

Mason is such a funny kid, he's all boy! He can be so sweet and the next minute my wild child. He makes me laugh on a daily basis and can always bring a smile to my face!
He's starting to talk much better and he wants to do everything Brooklin does. Here's a few facts about Mason (more for my sake):
*loves to be outside on his bike
*loves to eat everything, even his veggies
*loves to brush his teeth
*loves watching movies - his fav at the moment: flushed away, madagascar 2, toy story
*loves mickey mouse club house
*loves his monkey george
*loves wearing his orange crocs
*loves teasing his sister

Mason is such a joy and I'm so blessed to have him as my little guy. I love you Mason!
