Saturday morning we headed to Herriman
to Ansley's baptism and a luncheon
at the Baker's new home!
It's always fun to let the kiddos play and
get some visiting time in with family!
Afterwards, Kirst and I stopped to get new
phones which gave me anxiety and took
too long for my liking but we walked
away with the Samsung Galaxy (so far, so good)!
We headed to Grandma Winters for a little
rest before going to the big Western Stampede
in West Jordan with the Whitings!
I was so excited to take the kids since
it was their first time at a rodeo.
Kathleen hooked us up with front
row seats and the kids both got little
cowboy hats to wear.
The weather was a little stormy but not
bad, it did rain hard for awhile but just
sprinkled off and on after that!
It was quite muddy from all the rain
the last couple days so we had blankets
and table cloths to cover us when they would
ride by so we weren't totally covered in mud!
Mason absolutely loved it and was all into
everything. He was excited for the bull riding
and afterwards we asked what his favorite part
was and he said the sheep (muttin bustin)!
One of the cowboys brought him a rope they
use during the calf roping and he thought
that was so awesome!!!
After the rodeo he told me he needed
some cowboy boots!!!
that mud puddle was in front of us! |
