She Did It!!!

My lil sis is now an official graduate from

the University of Utah!!! I'm so proud

of her and all of her hard work and determination! 

She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in

Human Development & Family Studies.

We were able to attend both graduations, one being

Thursday night and the other one which she 

received her diploma was Friday morning.

Thursday night the guest speaker was Alex Smith,

former U of U athlete and former 49er QB 

and currently playing for the Kansas City Chiefs!

My mom, Brooklin and I headed up for the 

weekend - Dad just had back surgery and didn't

think he could handle all the festivities.

Grandma Winters and Larry along with Zach

joined in the fun Thursday night.

After the ceremony just us girls headed to

Cheesecake Factory for a late dinner!

Friday we had to be up bright and early as the 

graduation was at 9:00 am!

This was the largest group so they had 2 lines 

calling names but it went by quick.

After hers was over we headed to another bldg

so she could see some of her friends from the

Social Work program graduate!

Then we headed up to Ruth's Diner for some

lunch and try out their famous biscuits!!

Later that evening Kirst and I headed downtown to

meet up with some of her friends to celebrate.

Grandma and Brooklin went over and sat

 with Grandpa Gene for a few hours!
