santa made it to our house...

I think Santa's sleigh broke down at the Montoya's this year and had to leave all the toys here! Goodness, we got spoiled this year. The kids woke up about 8, Mason just wanted to sleep.. we had to pry him out of bed!

*Mason got his batman house & up which he was asking for along with a new scooter, a leapster, clothes, books and aunt Teri got him a cool remote control dinosaur*

* Brooklin got her ds she forgot to put on her list, another 3 muskateer barbie, tinkerbell movie, clothes, books, a scooter and a few ds games from aunt Teri*

*everyone gaming*

* After breakfast (which we had a housefull - both sides of our family came over) the kids went to the backyard and discovered that Santa had left a trampoline!!!*

Nick got a gps, a pistol safe, clothes and shoes. I got spoiled this year! I got a necklace, bracelet, gift cards to a couple places, a glue gun and a computer chair.

Happy Christmas Eve

We did dinner at my parents house.. yummy clam chowder (minus the clams in mine), stuffed mushrooms, ham, veggies, slush, way too much food!!! After dinner we made our way down stairs to open presents. Everyone got spoiled as usual - the big hit of the night for the kids was Mason got a helicopter and a punching bag. Brooklin got little pet shops and one of the 3 muskateer barbies. My parents gave us a deep freeze to go in our garage, which we are very grateful for and will be put to good use!

After we got home, the kids sprinkled food on the lawn for Rudolph and got Santa's cookies ready along with an orange and Coke! We opened our Christmas Eve jammies and everyone went to bed so Santa could come and visit...

thanksgiving day

We headed north for the holiday and we were lucky enough to stay with the Whiting's! We got in late Wed night so Thurs morning we just hung out and took our time getting ready. The kids got up and wanted to head out to the snow! So I bundled them up and they lasted about 15 mins because both of them took their gloves off and their hands were cold.
Aunt Julie and Uncle Todd hosted dinner and it was fabulous! Of course we ate too much and were miserable afterwards. We had fun visiting and watching Grandma Griffin (she's my great grandma - she's a hoot).
I love my family so much and I'm so happy we were able to spend the day together...

Memorial Day

We had a very low key day! My aunt and her family from Alaska came down for a visit, they got there Sunday and staying until Thursday. So we headed to the rec center to swim in the early afternoon, ate some lunch and headed down to the river. Later that evening Sharley and her family were headed home to Utah and stopped for a visit. The kids had a great time swimming and playing with each other. Thanks for all the yummy food this weekend mom!

It was so much fun having my aunt and her family down for visit. Brooklin and Mason loved playing with Rex and Quinn. We only get to see them every couple years so we're lucky they would want to spend their vacation with us!! Thanks for the FUN couple of days...

~Winters Easter Egg Hunt~

It was fun to have a little get together at Gma & Gpa's Saturday night. They need a bigger house... we had a lot of people in there but it was a great time! The kids had fun looking for eggs out in the backyard and Mason slept this hunt out - he was so tired! We had some yummy food, great conversation and lots of pictures! Brooklin was so excited to play with Cole and I don't think she left his side the entire night!

~Fullmer Easter Egg Hunt~

This year we were lucky enough to be in town for the annual easter egg hunt! It's always fun to get together the extended family and visit with long lost cousins and catch up with each other. It was an overcast day with just a few sprinkles as everyone was leaving! The kids had a blast hunting eggs and they both made a haul. Brooklin and Ansley were buddies the entire time we were there! It seems just like yesterday, I was out in the orchard looking for eggs! It was so fun to see everyone!!

The BuNnY found us early!

The Easter Bunny found us a week early! We are going to be in Utah over Easter weekend and we didn't know if he'd find us up there. I think the kiddos were quite surprised when they woke up Sunday morning and found a few treats in the front room! The bunny left their goodies in cute wheelbarrows this year. They also got fixed up with some summer clothes which were much needed!
We can't wait for the egg hunts, I think we'll be hitting the big Fullmer hunt and the Winters' one! We are excited to see and visit with family this weekend :)
