first day of school 2014-2015

I was definitely excited for school to start....

I was ready to get back into a routine and get the

kids out of my hair!!!! They were both excited

to start and were happy with the teachers they got.

Brooklin is in 4th grade and in Mrs. Troyner's class.

Mason is in 2nd grade and in Mrs. Munford's class

with Decker - they are even sitting across from each other!!

Here's to a great year of learning!!!

These were taken on the 2nd day... They look so grown up!

jr. golf banquet

The kids had an end of the year banquet

for golf held at Falcon Ridge!

It was a fun night with a spaghetti dinner.

Brooklin earned a trophy for one of the

weeks she golfed. Mason earned a $25 gift card

to Ready Golf! Both kids got a couple hats and

each kid got a backpack full of supplies and

golf stuff!

my fav place on earth

I absolutely LOVE Lake Powell

and this year did not disappoint at all!

We had the perfect weather not too hot, cooled

off at night, had a full moon, no wind or rain,

it was simply AMAZING!!! I lived on the paddle

boards or in a floatie, the kids all got along great,

the guys played horse shoes, 4 square was the popular

game with everyone, we ate yummy food, found

an awesome hike that only a few of us braved,

found some cliffs to jump off, ice cream at Dangling Rope,

we even had a day spa that gave massages,

lots of skiing, wake boarding and tubing to

last us hopefully until next year!!!

We had the usual crew Hughes, Ludvigson's,

Graves, Laub's and us... We always have such

a blast!! We camped at the spot we did last year

in Padre Bay, perfect spot!!!

Brooklin was the wake boarding queen and

popped right up!!! Mason did the knee board and

kept up with the big kids cliff jumping. Nick

even jumped on a tube the last day.

I tried wake surfing, skiing and paddle

boarding. I tried getting adventurous and climbed

in a cave thing and it was so darn steep I thought

I might fall to my death!!! But I made it out without

ruining my tan!!!!
