Kylee & Jeff's Wedding

We made a quick trip up to Utah for Kylee & Jeff's wedding on Tues June 8th. She looked beautiful and Jeff looked handsome.. They were so happy and in love :) They had a nice luncheon after the temple and then the reception was held at Magnolia Grove. It's always fun to visit with family and see Zach (he just got home from serving in Mexico). We had a good time!

Family in Town

Nick had a few of his uncles and cousins in town last weekend. We ate at the buffet for crab (B was in heaven for the 2nd week in a row)! We had fun visiting and Nick took the kids swimming at Casa on Saturday to play with everyone.

While we were at the buffet, I ran into my old volleyball coach from high school, Coach Riggs. It was so funny and she looks exactly the same. Her girls were so cute and all grown up. It was fun to visit with her and her family.

Let's Play Music Recital

Brooklin has been taking a little music class once a week for the past year with Angela. She has really enjoyed learning all the new songs and playing her bells. Last week they had a recital to show off what they had learned all year! Great Job B for learning so much this year.. she can't wait for it to start back up this fall cuz she'll learn more about the piano!

We had a lazy weekend but it was a nice one! Our friends (The Whitings) from Utah came Fri-Sun so we hit the seafood buffet Friday night.. that's the only reason Shane comes down :) Brooklin was in heaven, she LoVeS crab and shrimp - total opposite of her mama!
On Saturday we hung out by the pool for most of the morning and had a yummy bbq that night. We had to watch softball all weekend too cuz it's only on like once a year!!
I watched Ava all day Saturday so Chrissy and Jeremy could get moved in to their house so Sunday I went over to help with whatever. I ended up staying until 1:30am but we got a lot done :)
Monday we went to the pool again and ate all the leftovers from the weekend! Then we came home for a much needed 3 hour nap!

I so love this little monster too! He has been out of control the last few weeks... he can be so sweet one minute and the next he's a holy terror! I love you Mason and have loved watching you grow this past year... He's done so much better talking and he can count to 15, he knows all his colors and starting to write his "letters" and can write part of his name. He's excited for preschool next year - that poor teacher, watch out! Thanks for keeping me on my toes and making me smile each day Mason!

Another Graduation...

Today Brooklin graduated from Miss Kim's preschool. She was lucky enough to be in 2 preschools so she better be ready for kindergarten this fall! She had 2 parts today and she worked hard to memorize both of them :) They all looked so cute in their little caps and gowns. Miss Kim put together a cute slideshow which made me tear up a bit -- it's hard to believe my baby girl is 5! Brooklin also got the "Mother Hen" award, which totally fits her!
We love you Brooklin and we know you'll do a great job next year going to the big school! Work hard over the summer so you don't forget everything you learned this year :)

Graduating Class of 2023....

On Wednesday May 26th, Brooklin graduated from the Sunshine Preschool! She had Miss Janeece as her teacher and we absolutely loved her. Brooklin learned so much this past year and is so ready for Kindergarten this fall!
Their little program was cute, Brooklin got to hold the flag during the pledge and then they sang a couple songs and the graduates were presented..
We're so proud of you Brooklin!
