speed meet

Last Thursday the kids were able

to compete in the Speed Meet which 

was held in Logandale. 

They were very excited because they

got to ride the bus!!!

Each student competed in the shuttle

run and a relay team race. 

The top 8 of each grade competed

and it was a fun little day!

Both kids relay teams took first

and individually they took 3rd or 4th.

Veteran's Day Parade and a little ride...

We started our weekend off by 

watching Addi and Jackson while

Meridee, Grandpa and Kendall went

to Vegas Friday night to cheer

on Dixie State vs. UNLV!!!

(Dixie State won by 1)

We had a fun night eating pizza

and watching movies!!!

Mesquite does the parade the 

weekend before Veteran's Day!

The kids were excited because the

rec center was riding in the parade and

the kids sat in back of the truck and

threw candy! I sat back there with

them to control the situation!!!

It was such a beautiful day

we headed out on a little ride

Saturday afternoon.

pit stop!

We were so excited to have the Baker's

make us their pit stop on their way home

from Disneyland!!! The kids had so much

fun playing and running around.

The kids get along so well, wish we 

lived closer so they could play more often!!

We had another fun season of flag football....

We had a great little team and Nick even

let Brooklin throw the ball a few times each game!

She is getting to be quite the quarterback...

On to the next sport....

halloween....

I've decided I'm so not a fan of Halloween!!!

 I told my kids I wasn't buying costumes this

year so Mason decided on Darth Vader since he

already had a costume and my mom had a witch

costume for Brooklin!  They ended up not really 

caring what they looked like so I'm glad I didn't stress

over them!!! We started celebrating Tuesday at

our ward carnival/dinner and on Halloween we

hit the city trunk or treat and then Turtleback!

We survived and don't need to worry about

it for another year!!!!

It was also Addi's 4th birthday

Saturday so we celebrated with 

pizza and cupcakes!!!

She opened all her presents and then

we hit the Dixie State homecoming

game and tailgate party!!!

addi bug fell asleep sucking on her swig!!
