dairy days...

This past weekend we headed back to

Gunnison, UT for Dairy Days!

We had so much fun last year and we 

had a blast this year too...

Unfortunately this year Jody and Tyra

stayed home cuz Ty Ty was super sick...

Brooklin was in tears over this but managed

to still have a good time without her bestie!

We recruited Rusty and Josie to tag along 

this year and it was fun having them to play with!

We played softball all day Saturday and 

never saw the kids... They loved the rock wall, the

dunk tank, mini golf, digging for money, chicken

chases and the bounce house!!!

last day of school...

Summer has officially started!!!

School is out and I'm already for

school to start back up...

 The kids had a great year and I'm

so thankful for such good teachers

this year - Ms. Houston and Mrs. Dalton!

 Brooklin brought a little memory book

home and I had to chuckle when I read 

a few of her favorite things...

Noodle cake??? She had to explain that

one too me cuz I've never used that or heard

of it ---- lasagna!!!

And we don't have an animal but she really

wants a shitzoo dog -- I was rolling over this one!!!!

She spelled it just how it sounds, right???

semi-final game...

Brooklin's little league team

made it to the semi-final game!

They played the green team and ended 

up losing in the last inning by one run...

It was such a great game and the

kids all worked so hard!!

It literally came down to the last

out... We had 2 outs and our

little pitcher ran out of pitches

and so they put Brooklin in!

I was freaking out for her - good thing

she had NO concept of the situation

she was being put in!!!!

She ended up walking one and then

2 scored on passed balls.

I'm so proud of her for going in

and doing her best!!!

memorial day..

We had a pretty uneventful day...

I saw a couple pts in the morning and

Nick headed out to Teri's for a few

hours... I also worked on my

cabinet project for a few hours too!

Later in the afternoon we headed

to the river for some fun.

Sunday night we took a bike ride

thru the cemetery - it was quite the

genealogy lesson for me. I've been here

for 20 years and that is probably the first

time I've taken the time to walk thru there.

The kids actually enjoyed it too!

I'm so thankful for the men and women 

who now fight for our freedoms and those

who have passed on doing the same thing!

A great day to reflect on those who

have passed on...

midnight 5k

Coach Creer and I signed up for the 

Midnight 5K in St. George,

May 24th!

It started at 11:00 pm and it

was perfect weather!!

I really hadn't been training but

I started running a bit just so I could

keep up with Creer! The longest I had 

gone without stopping was 2 miles so

I was a little nervous but I was going to

give it a whirl! 

We did great and I even kept up!!

We finished in 36 mins which 

I was happy with :)
