FUN with the FuLLmeR's

Saturday night we got together with the Fullmer's at Bart and Tracy's house. We enjoyed eating and visiting and then the real party began with Minute to Win It! What a hoot this was and even the little kids got into it... Here's just a bunch of pics from that night.

This was just a pregame warmup to what came next.... Chubby Bunny! This was hilarious!!!  Kasey and Zach started out and Zach killed it with 17 marshmellows in his mouth. Then the girls stepped up and Kirstin got 17 marshmellows but half of them were coming out her mouth! She had quite the gag reflex going on too! Good times...

HaPpY 2011...

We headed north for New Years this year and stayed at the Whiting's! New Years Eve day I took advantage of the fabulous shopping and went for most of the day and then headed back to party! We had a great steak dinner prepared by the guys and then we played Just Dance 2 and the Cabella's hunting game for most of the night. Brooklin had a temp of 102-103 most of the night so she was a trooper to stay up to ring in the new year. We got our pots and pans ready, fireworks were set to go off and the countdown began... Happy New Year!

*christmas eve*

We had our annual clam chowder (minus the clams for me) dinner at my parents on Christmas Eve. After dinner Kirstin had to bust out an old home video so we had a few good laughs. Then we attempted to play out the Nativity but didn't quite make it completely through the entire thing. Brooklin was Mary and Mason was Joseph! It was then time to open presents.... Brooklin's favorite gift from gma and gpa - wii draw and her makeup bag. Mason - a train and a dj music thing. I got a new point and shoot camera and Nick got a gift card and poker chips. We all got spoiled for not doing gifts this year!
Thanks MoM for making it another special night for us - you always outdo yourself and this year was no exception!

the big guy found us....

Santa came and went and left way too much once again.... Nick woke us all up at 7:30 which we weren't too thrilled about but it didn't take the kids long to get excited!
The night before Mason left the special key on the front door so Santa could get into the house. The kids each chose a cookie and left an apple for Rudolph and a Coke for Santa then off too bed...
Brooklin's loot consisted of - a ladybug pillow pet, keyboard, a new ds with a game, clothes, bop-it, suitcase and a guitar.
Mason's loot consisted of - a monkey pillow pet, ds with games, clothes, suitcase, a monster remote control truck, scooter and legos galore.
Mom's - a steamer, flip camera, and gift cards.
Dad's - new oakley sunglasses, clothes and a book

After we opened presents my parents came over to check out what Santa had left. Nick and I had started breakfast and everyone showed up around 10:30 to eat... Robbie, Joe, Teri, Josh and Cody hung out most of the afternoon playing Wii Resort and then we went out to Arizona for dinner.
We had a great day but when we got home at 11, we still had presents to open under the tree! So it was a long day and we were all ready for bed.

2010 flood...

Well the 100 year flood came 95 years too soon! We got hit in 2005 and just days before Christmas we got hit again. There was so much water but not as much damage to homes as last time. The city workers and volunteers came out in full force to sand bag and do whatever was needed to help. It could've been much worse if the dykes/levis didn't hold but they did!
I didn't get too nervous about our house but we did have water coming up our street. Brooklin was in hysterics and was so afraid our house was going to get flooded. She was such a sweetheart and very concerned with everything going on. Her and Mason ended up at grandma's while Nick and I were out and about helping. We did have to pump out our backyard because we had so much water back there. I was more concerned about water coming in the back door rather than anything in the front yard.
It still smells like mud and there is still a lot of cleanup to be done. The ball fields by our house one field is still completely covered in mud. So crazy...
